Senior Planning Engineer

About the role

KBR is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to join its PMC team on petrochemical and LNG projects based in Abu Dhabi. The role involves leading planning activities across the full project lifecycle, from FEED through detailed engineering, and supporting international assignments as required.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for petrochemical and LNG facilities.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment of planning data.
• Perform critical path analysis, progress tracking, and risk mitigation throughout the project.
• Prepare and present schedule reports to senior management and client stakeholders, including ADNOC.
• Support travel to international project sites and provide on‑site planning expertise.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in oil & gas projects, with at least 5 years in petrochemical and LNG.
• Proven experience in FEED and detailed engineering phases.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (mandatory).
• Experience on ADNOC and PMC projects is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel internationally outside the UAE.
