Senior Project Coordinator – Waste & Environment

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Coordinator to support the delivery of a major waste sector advisory project in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role will serve as the day‑to‑day coordination interface between the client and a multidisciplinary team of senior experts covering waste management, tariff and financial analysis, infrastructure, institutional and regulatory matters.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the on‑site coordination focal point between the client and the project team.
• Coordinate activities and inputs across waste management, financial, tariff, infrastructure, institutional and regulatory workstreams.
• Facilitate communication and information flow between the client and multidisciplinary experts.
• Consolidate multidisciplinary inputs and support preparation and review of project deliverables.
• Identify coordination gaps, technical interfaces, and potential delays and escalate to the Project Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Infrastructure, Environment, Economics, Finance or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience, including at least one feasibility study for waste management or comparable infrastructure project.
• Strong client‑facing, communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English and ability to work independently on‑site.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of feasibility study components, including technical assessment, CAPEX/OPEX, financial and economic analysis.
• Good knowledge of infrastructure economics, tariff structures and cost‑recovery principles.
• Experience with financial modelling, cost‑recovery modelling and sensitivity analysis.
