Senior System Assurance Engineer

About the role

The Senior System Assurance Engineer will lead system assurance activities for complex railway and metro projects in Abu Dhabi. Reporting to regional RAMS leadership, you will ensure that all safety, reliability and availability requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Manage system assurance work in accordance with EN 50126, EN 50128 and EN 50129 standards.
• Coordinate verification and validation (V&V) activities and monitor compliance with RAMS requirements.
• Deliver system assurance documentation and deliverables on schedule and within budget.
• Collaborate with global RAMS teams to resolve technical issues and define mitigation strategies.
• Oversee interface management and ensure quality assurance processes are followed.

Required profile

• 10‑12 years of railway‑related experience, including at least 5 years as a System Assurance Manager.
• Proven track record on large‑scale railway or metro projects.
• Strong understanding of EN 50126/28/29 and RAMS principles.
• Self‑motivated, able to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple stakeholders.
