Site Civil Engineer

About the role

The Site Civil Engineer will supervise and manage civil construction activities on‑site, ensuring that all work is executed in line with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements and the project schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily civil construction tasks and coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site workers.
• Verify that construction follows approved drawings, method statements and specifications.
• Monitor progress, prepare daily reports and ensure timely completion of works.
• Conduct site inspections, check levels, dimensions, alignment, concrete, block, plastering and waterproofing works.
• Control material quality, availability and coordinate deliveries.
• Identify site issues, propose technical solutions and manage variations.
• Ensure compliance with UAE construction safety standards and maintain a clean, safe site.
• Attend site meetings, coordinate testing and inspections with authorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in civil construction and site supervision.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and site procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Good communication, coordination and problem‑solving skills.
• UAE construction experience preferred; UAE driving licence an advantage.
