Site Technical Document Controller – Building Construction

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Technical Document Controller / Junior Technical Engineer to join an active building construction site in Dubai. The role goes beyond simple filing; you will handle drawing revisions, prepare professional correspondence, and support project coordination on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Manage incoming and outgoing project documents, transmittals and registers.
• Maintain logs for RFIs, material submittals, shop drawings, method statements, WIRs, MIRs and NCRs.
• Draft professional emails, RFIs, letters and technical correspondence.
• Prepare and revise architectural and civil drawings, sections and as‑built drawings using AutoCAD.
• Coordinate architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
• Produce daily, weekly and monthly project reports, meeting minutes and action lists.
• Follow up consultant comments, rejected submissions and pending approvals.
• Ensure proper document numbering, filing, revision control and quick retrieval.
• Distribute latest approved drawings to the site team and support the Project Manager and site engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering or related field.
• UAE experience in building construction projects.
• Previous site‑based Document Controller or Technical Engineer experience.
• Fluent English and Filipino language.
• Currently residing in the UAE and available for full‑time onsite work.
• Willingness to complete a practical AutoCAD, reporting and correspondence test.

• Competitive salary ranging from AED 4,000 to AED 7,000 per month, based on experience, technical ability and test results.
