Social Media Manager

About the role

Brandgate, a digital marketing agency, is seeking a Social Media Manager to lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of social media strategies for multiple client accounts. The role combines content creation, community management, and performance analysis to ensure each campaign aligns with client brand objectives and delivers measurable results.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee social media accounts for multiple clients.
• Develop monthly content calendars that reflect client goals and brand guidelines.
• Create concepts for photos, videos, reels, stories and other formats.
• Participate in content creation sessions, including filming and shooting, while coordinating with the creative team.
• Write engaging, platform‑appropriate captions in English and Arabic.
• Coordinate with designers, videographers and content creators to bring ideas to life.
• Schedule and publish content on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and other platforms.
• Monitor comments, messages and community engagement, maintaining each client’s brand voice.
• Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, competitor activities and emerging formats.
• Track performance, engagement, reach and campaign results.
• Prepare monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations.
• Recommend content and campaign optimisations based on data.
• Ensure timely delivery of content and campaigns and manage client feedback, revisions and approvals.

Required profile

• Proven experience in social media management, preferably within a marketing or advertising agency.
• Strong knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and emerging platforms.
• Experience developing content calendars and social media campaigns.
• Excellent writing and communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Prior experience working in the UAE with a good understanding of the regional market.
• Ability to manage multiple social media accounts and projects simultaneously.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, creativity and a proactive approach.
• Experience coordinating with designers, photographers and videographers is a plus.
• Experience with NGOs, charitable organisations or the non‑profit sector is an advantage.
