Software, AI & Data Generalist – 80 hrs/week, $1,600/week

About the role

We are partnering with a leading foundational AI lab to engage an experienced software, AI and data professional. The expert will help train a cutting‑edge language model on professional document, spreadsheet and slide‑deck tasks, working fully remote on a flexible schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Create, evaluate and refine AI‑generated technical design documents, architecture decision records and system diagrams.
• Produce data pipeline and ETL documentation, model evaluation reports and AI system readiness assessments.
• Write API specifications, integration guides, data‑quality test plans and developer onboarding materials.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure documentation meets technical and business standards.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience as a software engineer, data engineer or AI/ML practitioner.
• Proven track record writing technical design documents, data‑pipeline documentation or API specifications.
• Direct experience evaluating model outputs and documenting technical trade‑offs.
• Exceptional craftsmanship in documents, spreadsheets and slide decks with strong written communication.
