About the role

As a Sommelier at Banyan Tree Dubai, you will craft exceptional beverage experiences for guests of a luxury resort. You will combine deep wine expertise with personalized service to enhance every dining moment and uphold the brand’s reputation for refined hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tailored wine recommendations based on guest preferences, menu selections and occasion.
• Guide guests through wine choices with confident storytelling and professional service.
• Present, open and serve wines following luxury hospitality standards, including proper temperature control, decanting and glassware selection.
• Answer guest inquiries about wine origins, grape varieties, regions and food pairings.
• Collaborate with culinary and F&B teams to develop and maintain wine pairing suggestions for menus, special events and tastings.
• Support menu launches, wine‑focused experiences and stay updated on industry trends.

Required profile

• Passion for wine and a strong desire to share knowledge with guests.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to tell engaging stories about wines.
• Professional, attentive and polished service style.
