Sourcing Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Sourcing Specialist to lead procurement activities for Emirates Flight Catering. The role focuses on negotiating with suppliers, managing contracts and driving cost‑saving initiatives across food‑and‑beverage and non‑F&B categories.

Key responsibilities

• Execute supplier negotiations, finalize award recommendations and establish contracts that balance cost, quality and service levels.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prioritize purchasing activities and ensure timely fulfilment of business needs.
• Set SMART objectives for sourcing projects, monitor performance and provide objective feedback.
• Lead cost‑saving initiatives and report category spend, savings and supplier performance.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and act as a preferred client to drive continuous improvement.
• Utilise e‑Sourcing and e‑Procurement tools, and ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental policies in all contracts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field.
• Professional procurement qualification (e.g., MCIPS) preferred.
• Minimum 6 years overall experience with at least 3 years in procurement or category management, ideally in aviation, airline catering or hospitality.

Required skills

• Proficient in ERP systems such as Oracle and SAP.
• Strong understanding of F&B and non‑F&B procurement categories.
• Knowledge of effective sourcing techniques and vendor relationship management.
• Familiarity with contractual terms and conditions.
