About the role

The Arts Club Dubai is seeking a talented Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in delivering high‑quality, modern fine‑dining experiences for its members. Working in a premium, multi‑floor venue, you will help manage the kitchen as an independent profit centre while ensuring consistency, creativity, and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Create and produce daily and seasonal dishes that reflect a modern twist on classic fine‑dining cuisine.
• Assist the Executive Chef with menu development, costing, photography, and description.
• Conduct regular demonstrations of new or existing dishes for the kitchen team.
• Manage kitchen sections efficiently to ensure readiness for each service period.
• Purchase food and kitchen supplies within budget to meet gross‑profit targets.
• Perform stock takes, monitor quality, and ensure statutory compliance.
• Provide training and support to all kitchen staff on equipment use, menu knowledge, and role expectations.
• Enforce hygiene, stock rotation, dating, storage, and temperature‑control standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 24 months of experience in a fine‑dining kitchen, preferably as a Sous Chef.
• Proven ability to manage kitchen operations and control food costs.
• Strong team‑leadership skills and the capacity to train junior staff.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
