Sous Chef Savoury

About the role

Le Café LPM is a modern neighbourhood café in Dubai that blends French Riviera spirit with everyday urban life. We are seeking a Sous Chef Savoury to support the Head Chef in delivering high‑quality, uncomplicated Mediterranean dishes across breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef in managing the savoury kitchen, ensuring preparation, quality and team performance.
• Oversee mise en place, service pace, ticket flow and communication with front‑of‑house staff.
• Maintain food safety, HACCP discipline, allergen control and hygiene standards.
• Control inventory, portion sizes, waste and supplier relations to keep costs in check.
• Lead and develop the kitchen brigade, stepping in as acting Head Chef when required.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of kitchen experience, including 2‑3 years as a Sous Chef or senior cook in French or European fine‑dining or all‑day‑dining concepts.
• Deep knowledge of French and Mediterranean cuisine techniques, sauces and plating.
• Food safety certification with solid HACCP and allergen awareness.
• Fluent English; French or another European language is a plus.
