Spare Parts Manager – Hino Commercial Vehicles

About the role

The Spare Parts Manager will lead the Hino Commercial Vehicles spare parts function for Al‑Futtaim Automotive in the UAE. Reporting to senior leadership, the role is responsible for achieving sales, margin and inventory targets while ensuring high customer satisfaction across B2B partners, distributors and workshop operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver monthly spare parts sales targets and meet annual revenue and gross‑margin budgets.
• Prepare, manage and control the annual spare parts operating budget, monitoring performance and taking corrective actions.
• Oversee end‑to‑end spare parts operations including forecasting, ordering, stocking and distribution of genuine Hino parts.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels, drive stock turnover, control ageing and reduce obsolescence.
• Conduct regular stock audits and physical inventories in line with company and OEM standards.
• Liaise with Hino principals, approved suppliers and distributors on procurement, pricing and promotions.
• Manage working capital, inventory investment and cost‑control initiatives to support profitability.
• Develop and coach the spare parts team to achieve operational and commercial objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading spare parts or aftermarket operations in the automotive sector.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting sales, margin and budget targets.
• Ability to manage inventory performance, working capital and cost‑control measures.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with B2B partners, distributors and OEM representatives.
• Leadership capability to develop and motivate a high‑performing team.
