Specialist Electrical Engineer – EPC/FEED Projects

About the role

Worley is seeking a Specialist Electrical Engineer to lead electrical engineering activities on EPC and FEED projects for oil & gas and petrochemical assets in Abu Dhabi. The role involves ensuring design quality, safety, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Champion project safety culture and engage in safety activities.
• Identify, evaluate, and resolve electrical engineering issues during early work and FEED phases.
• Review, approve, and comment on contractor deliverables, design calculations, specifications, and vendor documents.
• Participate in technical meetings, design reviews, 3D model reviews, HAZOP, SIL, EIA, and constructability sessions.
• Coordinate engineering participation in design option analysis, layout reviews, and technical workshops.
• Audit EPC/FEED contractor performance and ensure implementation of improvement recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited university.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry, including ADNOC, offshore, and PMC projects.
• Proven experience in FEED and EPC phases, with strong knowledge of industry codes and standards.
