Specialist Project Management – Commercial & Strategic Projects

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Commercial Specialist in Project Management to support the delivery of strategic projects, business growth initiatives, and operational improvement programmes across the organisation. The role will manage projects from concept through implementation, ensuring objectives are met within agreed timelines, budgets and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and hand over strategic projects and business initiatives, developing detailed project plans, timelines, budgets and resource requirements.
• Monitor project progress, risks, dependencies and issues, providing regular updates and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
• Develop business cases, investment proposals and cost‑benefit analyses to support strategic decision‑making.
• Prepare project budgets, cost estimates, financial forecasts and evaluate commercial risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate activities across Finance, Procurement, Legal, Compliance, Commercial and operational teams.
• Facilitate project meetings, workshops and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Maintain project documentation, governance records and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support compliance with internal policies, governance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
