Specialist – Taxation (Emiratised)

About the role

The Specialist – Taxation will support the Group’s UAE corporate tax compliance, working closely with the AVP and the tax team to prepare tax computations, file returns and respond to regulator queries.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the AVP in preparing corporate tax schedules and analyses.
• Coordinate with the financial reporting team on Oracle and SumX balances and reconciliations.
• Set up and submit tax information via the AmaraTax portal.
• Maintain complete tax documentation to satisfy authority scrutiny.
• Respond to queries from the regulator or UAE Ministry of Finance promptly.
• Support the Group Head of Tax and tax team on ongoing direct tax issues.
• Monitor adherence to FAB’s direct tax policy and log tax gaps.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of tax policies across business lines.
• Assist in closing tax authority enquiries, audits and historic GIA points.
• Participate in new product calls and sign‑off approvals as required.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of UAE corporate tax regulations.
• Ability to interact with multiple stakeholders across finance and tax functions.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
