Steward – Hotel Kitchen Support

About the role

We are looking for a Steward to support kitchen and food‑and‑beverage operations at our luxury hotels in Dubai. The role involves maintaining cleanliness, handling dishware and supporting basic kitchen preparation to ensure guests enjoy spotless service.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and prepare linen, dining ware, and kitchen equipment for guest use.
• Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, hand‑wash stations and other cleaning tools.
• Transport dishware and supplies between kitchen, employee dining rooms and other hotel areas.
• Assist with inventory of kitchen supplies and report shortages.
• Follow all company safety, security and hygiene policies, reporting any issues to management.
• Maintain a professional uniform and personal appearance at all times.
• Provide courteous greetings to guests and communicate clearly with team members.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 lb, bending, twisting and reaching overhead.

Required profile

• No specific education requirement; high school diploma or GED not mandatory.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience or professional certifications required.

Required skills

• Operation of dishwashing machines and hand‑wash stations.
• Basic kitchen preparation and cleaning techniques.
• Safe handling and use of cleaning chemicals.
