Store Supervisor

About the role

The Store Supervisor reports to the Manager Stores & Logistics at Etihad Airways in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures safe and efficient operation of technical bonded stores, supporting aircraft maintenance through proper handling of parts, tools, and supplies while promoting a strong safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Manage technical bonded store activities, including spares segregation, storage conditions, and compliance with GCAA and OEM regulations.
• Develop and upgrade storekeeping procedures, tools selection, and layout to optimise efficiency.
• Oversee 24/7 store operations, ensuring immediate material support to maintenance and appropriate manpower allocation.
• Control tool stores, maintain accurate inventory, conduct physical stock checks and timely reconciliations.
• Promote workplace safety by adhering to Safety and Quality manuals and encouraging reporting of hazards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in aircraft maintenance engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of aviation industry experience in aircraft maintenance stores or logistics, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of technical manuals, aviation spares and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work flexible shifts in a multicultural environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
