Student Conduct Officer

About the role

The American University in the Emirates is looking for a Student Conduct Officer to help maintain a safe, respectful, and orderly campus environment. You will be the primary point of contact for student behavior issues, ensuring university policies are applied fairly and consistently.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce compliance with university rules and regulations.
• Investigate, document, and resolve student conduct incidents while following due‑process procedures.
• Patrol the campus regularly to provide a visible presence and report violations.
• Collaborate with campus security, the Student Life Office, and other departments to promote a safe environment.
• Prepare detailed case reports and maintain accurate records.
• Offer guidance and support to students involved in conduct cases.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• 1‑3 years of experience in customer service or a related field; experience in student conduct or student life is preferred.
• Fluent written and spoken Arabic and English.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle difficult situations tactfully.
• Appreciation of cultural diversity.
