Supplier Quality Engineer

About the role

The Supplier Quality Engineer will ensure that all supplier‑provided components meet Edge's engineering and manufacturing standards. You will work closely with suppliers, internal teams, and the warranty department to maintain high quality and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan, organise, coordinate and supervise inspections and repairs of supplier parts.
• Review engineering and manufacturing specifications to guarantee continuous compliance.
• Coordinate with suppliers on rejected or remanufactured parts and supervise quality during warranty periods.
• Address spare‑parts failures directly with suppliers and manage the spare‑parts supply chain for repairs.
• Prepare weekly and monthly management reports and analyse related data.
• Provide technical advice to other departments on materials engineering and regulatory compliance.
• Analyse test results, maintain records, conduct training, and drive corrective actions for supplier quality issues.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of all company information.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, civil, logistics or electrical engineering.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience in supplier quality or related engineering roles.
• Valid UAE driving licence (or ability to obtain one).
• Project‑management experience is an advantage.
