System Analyst – Retail (IKEA)

About the role

The System Analyst will coordinate the configuration, upgrades, support and maintenance of Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central/D365, CRM and other cloud solutions for IKEA stores across the UAE and the wider region. You will work closely with the Digital & IT team, functional heads and business users to ensure seamless system operations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute system upgrades and data migrations from legacy platforms to modern ERP solutions.
• Collaborate with functional heads to gather business requirements and produce functional specifications and technical design documents.
• Deliver MS NAV/BC/D365 and cloud projects on time, within quality and cost targets, following established project methodology.
• Identify and implement process improvements to align with IKEA concepts and Al‑Futtaim Group guidelines.
• Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues and administer SQL databases, performing performance tuning and monitoring.

Required profile

• Graduate in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in business analysis, system design, development and ERP implementation within retail.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 or NAV/Business Central and Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools.
• Experience with API integrations, payment gateway integration and basic cloud operations (AWS or Azure).
