Team Leader – Facilities (Residences)

About the role

The Team Leader – Facilities (Residences) will oversee the maintenance of all resident areas within Atlantis The Royal, ensuring that electrical, mechanical, and other systems operate flawlessly to deliver the ultra‑luxury experience expected by guests.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and perform maintenance tasks across electrical, mechanical, kitchen, painting, carpentry, AV, fire‑life safety, recreational water, hotel rooms, public areas and exterior resort features.
• Execute Conditional Based Maintenance (CBM) and preventive maintenance according to manufacturers’ guidelines and property manuals.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including the use of personal protective equipment.
• Provide shift coverage, respond to emergencies, and report issues to senior personnel.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas before, during and after jobs and report any concerns.
• Train and mentor junior staff on technical procedures and safety practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a specific facilities maintenance trade.
• Formal trade school education or higher education in a related field.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and step into a supervisory role when required.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the capacity to work during building emergencies.

Required skills

• Electrical distribution circuitry, wiring, circuit protection, three‑phase and single‑phase power.
• Motors, starters, electrical controls and connecting devices.
• Lighting fixtures installation, maintenance and control systems.
• Electrical distribution transformers and guestroom management systems.
• Mechanical systems, carpentry, audio‑visual equipment, fire‑life safety and recreational water system maintenance.
