Technical Engineer - Public Cloud

About the role

Emirates Group is seeking a Technical Engineer specialized in Public Cloud to join its Platform Engineering team. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and supporting cloud‑based infrastructure that underpins critical business services across the Emirates Group.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deploy and integrate cloud solutions.
• Provide technical input for capacity management, service continuity, and availability.
• Identify improvement opportunities and drive service‑enhancement programmes.
• Resolve incidents within agreed service levels and develop work‑arounds to minimise impact.
• Offer troubleshooting support and ensure problems are analysed according to the Problem Management process.
• Maintain documentation and support operational processes such as incident, problem, and change management.

Required profile

• Experience with public cloud platforms and hybrid cloud environments.
• Understanding of IT service management processes (incident, problem, capacity, availability, continuity).
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
