Technical Manager – Spatial Experiences

About the role

As a Technical Manager for Spatial Experiences, you will own the technical delivery of complex AV, lighting and interactive projects from concept through hand‑over. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, clients and subcontractors to ensure projects meet quality, schedule and budget expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end technical management of projects and tenders, overseeing planning, execution and delivery.
• Produce and maintain high‑quality technical documentation such as layouts, schematics, system diagrams and schedules.
• Coordinate design and engineering of integrated audio‑visual, video and lighting systems.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Plan and allocate resources, balancing workloads across multiple simultaneous projects.
• Define project objectives, track progress and adjust strategies to meet deadlines.
• Organise and chair project meetings to ensure transparency and alignment.
• Monitor quality, timelines and budgets, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions.
• Provide leadership to technical teams, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Maintain internal knowledge bases and stay updated on market trends and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing turnkey AV, scenic or fit‑out projects for museums, visitor centres, EXPO pavilions or similar installations.
• Degree in Audio‑Visual technology, Construction Management, Architecture or a related field is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of technical, business and contractual aspects of large‑scale projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large budgets and a solid network in the UAE/KSA market.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in English is mandatory.
