Test Engineer – PCBA (Electronic Test & Repair)

About the role

Eaton is looking for a Test Engineer – PCBA to design, validate and continuously improve printed‑circuit‑board‑assembly (PCBA) test procedures in its Dubai manufacturing hub. The role provides technical support for failed PCBAs and ensures compliance with Eaton’s production quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, deliver and maintain work instructions for ICT, Flying Probe and functional test equipment.
• Manage Level 2 & 3 maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance and equipment calibrations.
• Support the Industrialization Program Manager with process flow charts, PFMEA, PPAP and other ProLaunch deliverables.
• Participate in DFM reviews to influence PCB/PCBA design and ensure test instructions are linked to ECO/MCO changes.
• Track and improve test cycle times, perform Pareto analysis and define repair processes for failed PCBA/FG.
• Assist with customer audits and plant quality certification for electronic test steps.
• Collaborate with the Manufacturing Test Development team on new test solutions and fixture maintenance.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience setting up, validating and improving PCBA test procedures in a production environment.
• Ability to diagnose failed PCBAs after ICT, Flying Probe or functional testing.
• Familiarity with Eaton’s production quality standards and safety rules.
• Experience supporting industrialization activities such as PFMEA, PPAP and DFM reviews.
