Trader/Trading Manager - Electronics

About the role

The Trading Manager role is a revenue‑generating position at the core of a newly launched B2B electronics trading platform. Based in Dubai, the role focuses on sourcing, pricing and executing high‑value electronic inventory deals across global markets.

Key responsibilities

• Buy‑side sourcing: identify and develop supplier relationships across electronics and IT brands, authorised distributors, retailers and grey‑market channels; source excess stock, promotional inventory, end‑of‑life products and opportunistic deals to build a consistent pipeline.
• Sell‑side execution: define optimal sales strategy for each deal, manage outbound distribution to qualified buyers, respond to RFQs and convert demand into closed orders while maximising margin.
• Pricing and margin management: use the company’s evaluator engine to calculate landed costs, set pricing and monitor market price movements to adjust strategies.
• Negotiation: lead supplier‑side negotiations on price, payment terms and volume commitments and negotiate customer pricing to remain competitive.
• Relationship management: maintain a growing network of suppliers across key geographies and manage key buyer accounts to develop long‑term trading relationships.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B wholesale trading, distribution or commodity dealing within electronics, IT or related categories.
• Strong negotiation track record in competitive environments.
• Self‑starter capable of managing the full deal lifecycle independently.
• Existing network of suppliers or buyers in the Middle East, Europe or Asia.
• Familiarity with grey‑market, excess stock or opportunistic trading.
