Trainee – Project Engineer (UAE Nationals)

About the role

EDGE Group is launching a dedicated training program for UAE nationals interested in defence technology. As a Trainee Project Engineer you will gain hands‑on experience in electronics, mechatronics, networking and security while supporting real defence projects.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in technical training modules covering electronics, mechatronics, networks and security.
• Operate, configure and troubleshoot defence systems under mentor guidance.
• Document test results, prepare technical reports and contribute to team discussions.
• Engage in continuous professional development and demonstrate commitment to learning.

Required profile

• UAE national.
• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and curiosity for technology.
• Effective teamwork and clear communication skills.
• Prior internship or project work in a technical area is a plus.
