About the role
The American University in the Emirates is seeking a reliable driver to operate its shuttle service, providing safe pick‑up and drop‑off transportation for students, staff, and university personnel.
Key responsibilities
- Follow the daily shuttle schedule to transport students and staff to designated locations.
- Maintain accurate logs of pick‑up and drop‑off times.
- Monitor speed limits and drive responsibly to ensure passenger safety.
- Keep the assigned vehicle clean, fueled, and up‑to‑date on maintenance.
- Assist with the delivery and collection of supplies for university events.
- Provide courteous customer service and respond promptly to calls.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid UAE driving licence.
- 1–3 years of driving experience in the UAE.
- Professional appearance and ability to work under pressure.
- Flexibility to work night shifts and variable timings.
Required skills
- Valid UAE driving licence.
What we offer
- Salary range AED 2,500 – AED 3,500 per month (based on experience).
- Additional benefits as per university policy.
