Vice President & Head of Direct Sales – Retail Banking

About the role

The Vice President & Head of Direct Sales will steer the growth of RAKBANK's Retail Banking portfolio, focusing on Personal Loans, Credit Cards and other retail products. You will lead the in‑house sales channels, drive revenue, and expand market share across Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for retail banking products.
• Define, monitor and achieve team KPIs, performance metrics and sales benchmarks.
• Lead, mentor and manage Team Leaders, Business Development Managers and Relationship Managers.
• Drive customer acquisition, cross‑selling and deepen existing relationships.
• Oversee strategic alliances, partnership development and outdoor sales initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, governance frameworks and internal policies.
• Identify market opportunities, optimise sales processes and collaborate with stakeholders to meet strategic objectives.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in retail banking sales or a comparable financial services environment.
• Track record of delivering revenue growth and expanding market share.
• Strong ability to mentor and develop high‑performance sales teams.
• Deep understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management in banking.
• Excellent strategic thinking and stakeholder management skills.
