About the role

The Head of Finance, Financial Institutions & Strategic Projects oversees the finance function supporting MashreqBank’s Financial Institutions (FI) business, a fast‑growing, globally focused segment operating across multiple geographies. The role drives the strategic and operational finance agenda for FI in close partnership with senior business and product stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

Oversee the finance function supporting the Financial Institutions (FI) business across multiple geographies.
Support the strategic and operational finance agenda for FI, collaborating with the Head of Financial Institutions, Group Head of CIBG, and other key stakeholders.
Accountable for shared strategic priorities across Wholesale Banking, including digital programmes, new product implementations, and finance transformation projects such as WDS, Titan, and Pulse.
Manage the FI unit to service Mashreq’s expanding institutional client base and enhance cross‑border capabilities.
