Warehouse Assistant

About the role

IRE is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join its operations team in the United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on handling incoming stock, picking orders, and maintaining accurate inventory while adhering to health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor loading and off‑loading of shipments with drivers and helpers.
• Receive incoming materials, reconcile with purchase orders, and store them appropriately.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch products to customers, ensuring proper wrapping and labeling.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through daily activities, cycle counts and stock audits.
• Report any safety hazards, equipment faults or damage to storage racks.
• Operate and perform preventive maintenance on warehouse vehicles and equipment, including forklifts.
• Assist the operations team with ad‑hoc requests and other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Based in the UAE with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• 1–2 years of forklift driving experience.
• Strong attention to detail, good organisational skills and a self‑starter attitude.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations.
