WHS Safety Coordinator, Accommodation Program

About the role

Amazon is seeking a Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Coordinator to lead safety initiatives at its fulfillment center in Riyadh. Reporting to the WHS Manager, you will drive risk assessments, training, and compliance to ensure a safe and empowered workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Lead site risk assessments for existing and new activities.
• Develop and maintain a WHS training matrix.
• Implement site‑specific WHS standards, objectives, and programs.
• Conduct daily safety briefings and frequent safety audits.
• Investigate incidents, manage Gensuite documentation, and support CAPA creation.
• Maintain PPE inventory and coordinate procurement.
• Oversee weekly KSR audits, fire‑fighting and first‑aid training compliance.
• Review and sign off daily permits to work.
• Prepare emergency response plans, conduct drills, and monitor heat‑index conditions.
• Provide daily updates to the Country WHS Manager and support WHS committee meetings.

Required profile

• Fluent spoken, written, and read English.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
