Zoological Manager

About the role

Miral Experiences is seeking a dedicated Zoological Manager to lead the animal care and guest experience at SeaWorld Abu Dhabi. This senior‑level position ensures the health, safety, and welfare of the animal population while delivering an engaging experience for visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all animal behavior, husbandry, and welfare activities for assigned habitats.
• Develop, implement, and maintain safety protocols for guests, staff, and animals.
• Create and oversee behavior enrichment programs for each species.
• Manage guest‑facing animal displays and quarantine facilities.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate team members, ensuring required certifications are obtained.
• Plan and monitor departmental budgets and sustainable animal population planning, including acquisitions and dispositions.
• Participate in exhibit design and capital expansion projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience in animal behavior, husbandry, and welfare within a zoological or marine‑park setting.
• Strong leadership and team‑management skills.
• Ability to develop and enforce safety standards.
• Experience with budget management and population planning.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with guest experience and education departments.
