Account Executive – Technical Sales (US Market, Chinese Speaking)

About the role

BytePlus, the innovative technology arm of ByteDance, is looking for an Account Executive to drive its technical sales in the United States. The role is based in Dubai and requires frequent travel to the US to engage with AI startups and enterprise customers. Fluency in Chinese is essential to support regional partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and scale a sustainable pipeline of US‑based AI startups and tech enterprises for BytePlus’s AI‑driven product suite.
• Lead full‑cycle B2B sales, from prospecting to closing mid‑market deals, focusing on GenAI workflows, agentic AI applications and API‑based creative tools.
• Maintain and expand strategic relationships within the US SaaS and AI ecosystems.
• Build a predictable sales pipeline through outbound outreach, developer community engagement and partnerships with aggregators.
• Convert aggregator‑driven marketplace accounts into high‑value direct enterprise contracts.
• Collaborate with the Dubai hub while traveling regularly to the United States for on‑site meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of B2B sales experience with a proven record of closing mid‑market deals.
• Deep knowledge of the US SaaS market and ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
• Strong understanding of GenAI workflows, LLM‑based applications and developer/API ecosystems.
• Willingness to travel frequently between Dubai and the United States.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with problem‑solving resilience in early‑stage markets.
