About the role
Oryx Infra Contracting is looking for a skilled Accountant to support its financial operations in Dubai. The role is ideal for professionals with at least two years of UAE accounting experience, preferably within the contracting or construction sector. The successful candidate will handle day‑to‑day bookkeeping, VAT compliance and reporting while working independently.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping activities.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice preparation and payment processing.
- Perform account reconciliations.
- Support VAT‑related tasks and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Prepare periodic financial reports.
Required profile
- Minimum two years of UAE accounting experience.
- Prior experience in contracting or construction is preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping and VAT.
- Ability to work independently with high attention to detail.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with accounting software.
- Knowledge of VAT invoicing and reconciliation.
