About the role
We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our growing team in Dubai. The role supports the financial operations of an eCommerce and digital‑startup environment, ensuring accurate reporting, budgeting and compliance with regional tax regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Book and record financial transactions (receivables & payables), reconcile sub‑ledgers and ledgers, and prepare financial statements.
- Develop monthly, quarterly and annual budgets, projections and forecasts.
- Assess internal controls and risks, proposing mitigation measures.
- Prepare periodic reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly) and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
- Support and coordinate annual external audits of the company’s finances.
Required profile
- 5–7+ years of experience in financial management and accounting within an eCommerce or digital‑startup business.
- Demonstrated experience with GCC VAT regulations.
- Strong background in budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
