Accountant (Emiratized Role)

About the role

Tafaseel BPO is recruiting an Accountant on behalf of a client in Ajman, a reputable governmental entity. The role suits fresh graduates who want to start their career in accounting and finance within the government sector. It is an Emiratized position, so UAE nationals are encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain financial transactions in line with government accounting standards
• Help prepare financial reports and statements
• Monitor expenditures and budget allocations
• Reconcile accounts and support month-end and year-end closing
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and internal policies
• Keep financial documentation organized for audit and review
• Coordinate with internal departments on financial data collection and reporting
• Carry out other duties assigned by the finance department

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and public sector financial procedures
• Good communication and time management skills
• Willingness to learn in a structured, professional environment
• Preferred: internship or cooperative training in finance or accounting; familiarity with ERP or government financial systems is a plus
