Accountant

About the role

Ultiwise Consult is hiring an Accountant in Ajman, UAE, working full time in the manufacturing sector. The role covers daily accounting operations, reconciliations and support to the finance team. Candidates from the manufacturing industry are preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise regular accounting processes such as accounts payable, journal entries and monthly closing.
• Handle day-to-day accounting operations: accounts payable and receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, revenue and expense variance analysis and reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries and synthesize common ledgers for subsidiary accounts.
• Assist other department staff and help departments with monthly account reconciliations.
• Support the safekeeping of internal expenses and enter petty cash vouchers.
• Prepare account reconciliations, tax files and cost accounting calculations, including factory data recording.
• Disburse overtime salaries and scan soft copies of processed and paid documents.
• Follow the Finance Manager's instructions for implementing new accounting software and for quality management and company procedures.

Required profile

• 3 years of experience.
• Candidates from the manufacturing industry preferred.
• Timely completion of entries in the system and accurate accounting entries.
• Good behaviour with colleagues, seniors, suppliers and bank customers.
