A client is hiring a qualified Treasury Section Manager (Emirati) for a government entity in Ajman. The role suits an experienced finance professional with strong expertise in treasury operations, cash flow management, liquidity planning and investment management.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning and treasury operations.
• Manage government bank accounts and banking relationships.
• Supervise Treasury Account operations and ensure efficient cash management.
• Manage surplus cash investments, maximising returns while mitigating financial risks.
• Develop and implement treasury policies, procedures and financial reporting frameworks.
• Monitor financial performance indicators and identify ways to improve operational efficiency.
• Lead and develop the treasury team, ensuring performance and compliance.

Required profile

• Emirati nationality.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration, with a specialisation in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of treasury management, cash flow forecasting, liquidity management and financial risk.
• Excellent analytical, leadership and decision-making skills.
