Accountant – Finance Team

About the role

Join the finance team at Discovery Dunes Golf Club where you will support day‑to‑day financial operations and gain exposure across accounting, reporting, tax and budgeting.

Key responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Record financial entries and maintain accurate ledgers.
• Perform bank and general‑ledger reconciliations.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Support VAT and UAE corporate tax compliance and audit preparation.
• Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate reporting.
• Identify and propose improvements to finance processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
• Detail‑oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Professional attitude with a commitment to confidentiality.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems.
