Accountant – Floral & E‑Commerce (Dubai)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Accountant to join our fast‑growing floral and e‑commerce business in Dubai. The role goes beyond traditional bookkeeping, covering full financial operations, cash‑flow optimisation, and support for the company’s rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end bookkeeping and accounting operations.
• Prepare financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow.
• Handle VAT and corporate tax filing and ensure compliance.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, and coordinate vendor payments and negotiations.
• Reconcile e‑commerce payouts, POS systems, bank statements and other financial records.
• Monitor cash flow, identify cost‑saving opportunities and support budgeting and forecasting.
• Maintain proper inventory costing and reporting for floral products.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3–4 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in e‑commerce, retail or floral/FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai VAT and corporate tax regulations.
• Experience with e‑commerce platforms such as Shopify, Talabat, Deliveroo, Instashop, Amazon or WooCommerce.
• Proficiency in Zoho Books and advanced Excel skills.
• Analytical, organised and problem‑solving abilities; CPA/CMA is a plus.
