Accountant for Nursery

About the role
The nursery located in Al Jafliya, Dubai is looking for a dedicated Accountant to manage its financial operations. This full‑time position will support day‑to‑day accounting tasks and ensure compliance with local regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile the nursery’s general ledger and bank statements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payments.
- Monitor cash flow and manage petty cash expenses.
- Ensure accurate tax filings and compliance with UAE financial regulations.
Required profile
- Candidate must be of Sri Lankan origin.
- Proven experience in accounting, preferably within an educational or childcare setting.
- Strong understanding of finance principles and UAE accounting standards.
Required skills
- Proficiency with the latest version of Tally accounting software.
