About the role
AVK Global is recruiting on behalf of a prestigious multinational publicly listed company for an Accountant based in Dubai. The role involves supporting core accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and contributing to day‑to‑day finance operations within a trading company environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets, and Cash & Bank transactions.
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with accounting operations across different functions on a rotational basis.
- Prepare reports and support financial reconciliation activities.
- Utilise ERP systems, Tally and Microsoft Excel to manage financial data efficiently.
Required profile
- Semi‑qualified CA / CMA, M.Com or MBA (Finance) with 5–6 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Experience in a trading company is preferred.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets and Cash/Bank accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Tally and ERP systems.
