Accountant (UAE & Saudi Tax)

About the role

MIZOC Logistics is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage daily financial operations and ensure compliance with UAE and Saudi tax regulations. Based in Dubai, you will work closely with operations and management teams to provide accurate financial insights that support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Record financial transactions, maintain ledgers, and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Prepare and file VAT and corporate tax returns for the UAE and Saudi Arabia, ensuring timely statutory compliance.
• Support internal and external audits and assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Ensure adherence to local and international accounting standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional certifications (ACCA, CPA, CA, CMA) are a plus.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within the UAE/GCC logistics sector.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger management and financial reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP accounting systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Hands‑on experience with UAE VAT filing.
• Experience in UAE Corporate Tax filing.
• Experience in Saudi Arabia VAT filing and GCC tax regulations.
