Accounts Receivable Supervisor

About the role

Hyde Hotels is seeking a detail‑oriented Accounts Receivable Supervisor to lead its finance team in Dubai. You will be responsible for overseeing the full accounts receivable cycle, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate financial records in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor the accounts receivable team, setting performance expectations and supporting professional development.
• Manage the end‑to‑end receivables process, including invoice verification, aging analysis, and collection follow‑up.
• Monitor metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements to reduce Days Sales Outstanding.
• Prepare accurate receivables reports for management and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations, VAT requirements, and company credit policies.
• Communicate with customers regarding payment terms, invoice discrepancies, and collection matters.
• Reconcile customer accounts, investigate discrepancies, and optimize accounting software workflows.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, and finance departments to resolve issues and improve cash flow.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or related finance functions.
• 1‑2 years of supervisory or team‑lead experience.
• Strong knowledge of UAE tax regulations and VAT compliance.
• Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
• Experience using accounting software and customizing workflows.
