Area Sales Manager

About the role

The Area Sales Manager will develop and execute sales and marketing plans for the assigned MENA and Central Asia territories, ensuring alignment with budget and medium‑term objectives. The role also serves as the primary account manager for customers and partners within the region.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets and identify new business opportunities across the assigned territories.
• Manage and measure performance of existing and new agents and distributors.
• Process enquiries, review technical specifications, coordinate with customers and tender teams, and prepare quotations and technical submittals.
• Negotiate technical and commercial terms to secure purchase orders and hand them over to Operations.
• Issue monthly sales forecasts and report to the Regional Sales Manager.
• Contribute to new product development with the R&D function.
• Represent the company at regional trade shows, exhibitions, and technical seminars.
• Ensure promotional support for Lucy products within agreed budgets.
• Collaborate with Global Marketing and product managers to position Lucy’s products effectively.
• Maintain health and safety standards and comply with company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–10 years of technical sales experience in the Power and Automation industry.
• Customer‑focused mindset with strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Organised, proactive, and able to work independently in diversified situations.
