Area Sales Manager – Middle East

About the role

Adecco is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead sales activities across the Middle East market from Dubai. The role focuses on driving importer performance, achieving sales targets, and ensuring profitability in line with retail standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, propose, and monitor achievement of sales targets for production, wholesale, and retail.
• Conduct regular market visits to assess importer operations and performance.
• Analyse key performance indicators with importers, coach them, and develop corrective action plans.
• Align sales volume forecasts internally and with importers, reviewing monthly performance against the business plan.
• Recommend tactical measures to boost vehicle sales and support new production orders, including financial approvals.
• Monitor competitor pricing, market movements, and drive implementation of product and price strategies.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting from importers (weekly estimates, forecasts, production requests).
• Support dealer development projects, market expansion, and sales training initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business management or a related field.
• Proven experience in sales operations, production planning, or similar roles, preferably in automotive or luxury goods.
• Strong analytical abilities and experience working across diverse markets and cultures.
• Knowledge of automotive markets in the Middle East and Africa.
