Assistant Manager – Audit & Assurance

About the role

An experienced audit professional is needed to lead external audit engagements for financial services clients in Dubai. The role involves supervising audit teams, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage external audit engagements for financial services clients.
• Supervise audit teams and provide guidance throughout assignments.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering high‑quality service.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and ISA standards.
• Prepare audit documentation, review financial statements, and support project completion.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of external audit experience, preferably in financial services.
• ACC​A, CA, CPA or ACA qualification preferred.
• Experience supervising audit teams and managing client relationships.
• Familiarity with UAE or GCC regulatory environments (DIFC, ADGM, DFSA, FSRA).

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and ISA.
• External audit methodologies for funds, asset management, fintech, banking, insurance, brokerage.
• Technical proficiency with regulatory frameworks such as DIFC, ADGM, DFSA, FSRA.
