Assistant Manager – Defect Liability & Community Management

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Defect Liability Period (DLP) & Community Management will oversee the handover of property units, ensure quality standards, and manage customer relationships throughout the DLP.

Key responsibilities

• Manage unit readiness for handover, ensuring compliance with quality standards and business plans.
• Supervise suppliers, contractors, and consultants to guarantee professional work within agreed timelines.
• Organise and lead daily, weekly and monthly meetings to track maintenance, minor works and help‑desk activities.
• Inspect ready units with customers, conduct snagging, and ensure safety and security during handover.
• Maintain strong client relationships, handle service requests, and provide status updates throughout the DLP.
• Prepare management reports, develop budgets, and support digitalisation of handover processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management (preferred) or related field.
• 4‑6 years of experience in property management/handover, with at least 2 years leading a maintenance team.
• Knowledge of local real estate laws, building systems and legal requirements for property handover.

Required skills

• Understanding of building systems, amenities and property handover procedures.
• Experience in managing minor and reactive works.
