Assistant Manager – E‑Commerce Marketplace

About the role

Babyshop is seeking an Assistant Manager to drive growth on its e‑commerce marketplace platform. The role focuses on onboarding new brands, managing existing supplier relationships, and ensuring seamless product listings across assigned territories.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with existing suppliers to maintain and grow sales through timely ordering and joint promotions.
• Onboard and develop new vendors on consignment, back‑to‑back, or outright models to meet annual budget targets.
• Work with the legal team to finalize contracts for both existing and new suppliers.
• Manage shipment timelines with Dubai‑based suppliers to avoid stock‑outs.
• Handle credit notes for joint promotions and liaise with finance for payment processing.
• Train back‑to‑back suppliers on the company ordering portal.
• Report monthly sales performance to suppliers and finance.
• Address ageing inventory on outright purchases, arranging returns or liquidation as needed.
• Create new supplier accounts and keep weekly sales files updated, monitoring pricing, margins, and stock status.

Required profile

• Graduation in Business Management.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in e‑commerce retail.
• Creative problem‑solver with strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Experience launching international brands or entering new markets is a plus.
