Assistant Manager – Order Management

About the role

The company, a leading player in the gold, diamond and jewellery sector, is looking for an Assistant Manager – Order Management to join its Dubai operations. The role focuses on overseeing the full order lifecycle, from purchase order creation to final customer fulfilment, ensuring seamless coordination across procurement, vendors and logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end order processing and execution for high‑volume purchase orders.
• Coordinate with vendors to secure product availability and on‑time deliveries.
• Oversee supply‑chain, procurement and fulfilment activities, ensuring compliance with internal controls.
• Monitor delivery schedules, resolve order‑related issues promptly, and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal business partners.
• Support team development through training and performance coaching.
• Utilise Microsoft Dynamics ERP effectively across daily operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in supply‑chain or order management.
• Proven background in the jewellery, gold or diamond industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on operational efficiency.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP (mandatory).
